ToxicEmergency
Are wild mushrooms toxic to dogs?
Treat as toxic. Some wild mushrooms, like death cap (Amanita), cause liver failure and death; unless an expert identifies it, assume danger.

What to do now
- Call your vet or a pet poison line now.
- Collect all the mushroom pieces in a paper towel and put them in the fridge for identification.
- Get help even if your dog seems fine; some toxins take up to 24 hours to cause signs.
Don't
- Don't make your dog vomit unless a vet tells you to.
